BlueBucksClan releases Pretty Much Video

Today, Los Angeles rap duo BlueBucksClan drop the video for “Pretty Much,” a standout cut from their new acclaimed album Clan Way 3. The video follows MCs DJ and Jeeezy Obama through Autzen Stadium, home of the Oregon Ducks football team, as they pay tribute to the late tight end Spencer Webb.
In the moving Tevo LaRon-directed video, DJ and Jeeezy Obama explore the Ducks’ well-appointed locker rooms, illustrious trophy case, and wood-paneled media area, all while rocking team-issued warmup gear. The video ends with a dedication to Webb, who passed away in July. “Pretty Much” also features a cameo from OHGEESY, another burgeoning Los Angeles rap star, whom the duo went on a national tour with this year.
In just three short years, BlueBucksClan have established themselves at the forefront of L.A. rap’s new wave with uproarious jokes and bone chilling threats delivered in flows that first seem like off-the-cuff conversations before revealing their sly rhythmic complexity. Clan Way 3 has been praised for their “flawless chemistry” from a Pitchfork review. Hometown fans will be able to see the Clan perform songs from the album before the year is out with a headlining show at The Novo on December 30 and in 2023 BlueBucksClan will make their Rolling Loud festival debut on March 5.
Though Jeeezy and DJ exist close to the cutting edge of hip-hop, they’ve already garnered praise from the most established voices in the genre and cultural sports tastemakers including Kevin Durant, Saweetie, Russell Westbrook, and Drake who called them “two goats” after seeing their recent “Fire in the Booth” freestyle among others. Given the reception that past projects like Clan Virus 2 and Clan Way 2 received — and seeing as Clan Way 3 is a deepening of their style in every sense — one can only imagine the heights that BlueBucksClan could now ascend to. Currently the duo has amassed over 250 million streams to date.
